Desde From Rio de Janeiro Airport (Galeao), take a taxi to the bus station, from there take the Costa Verde bus to Angra dos Reis or Mangaratiba. To reach the island catch the ferry to Abraao.
Ferries leave Mangaratiba at 8 a.m and return at 17:30 hs. From Angra dos Reis. The ferry depart at 15:30 hs, monday to Friday ,Saturdays Sundays and hollidays they return at 10: 00 hs daily. There are often boats running throughout the day at 13:20, 14:30 and 17:00.

Important:
It is forbidden vehicles circulation (cars and motos) In Ilha Grande. Beause of that, you must leave your car in the continent side. You will find places in Mangaratiba and Angra to park it. Check the existence of the park station when a facility of this kind is offered.
